Hey, I am wondering what should be a good compression number for a d16y7 motor out of a 1996 CX with about 180k kilometers or about 111k miles.

it depends on if you are doing a wet or dry compression test. But in reality, the numbers dont matter, as long as they are almost all exactly the same...id say +/- 10psi of eachother

A completely stock y7/y8 usually runs 150-180psi across all four cylinders on a standard compression test, I believe.

Ok, thanks guys ! , I was just wondering, mine puts out 185? if thats even possible?
