D16Y7 redline

My car never came with a tach and I haven't been able to find any information on it... so what does the d16y7 redline at?

Ive got a y8 and it redlines at like 7000 i think. it might be a little lower for that motor though

is it a manual or auto cause mine redlines at 7500. its an auto

you dont want to get into the habbit of over reving your engine b/c your pretty round pistons will turn into slighty egg shape.

I have a dx so when I got the car it didnt have a tac. I went and purchased an ex cluster (has tac built in) and just its just a simple plug -n- play.

i have revd my D16Y7 up to 7k rpm (did not came to the red point), but the right rpm to shift is 6200.....

i shift at 6200 most times, never pushed it to 7000 yet!

i found out that the d16y7 and y8 can olny go to 6850 then redline turns on its gay cuz my stock gauge went to 7500 befor i had to shift but my pivot tach and greddy profec-e-01 say my redline is 6850
