Hey i got a 98 Honda Civic Ex auto should i boost it or go with the motorswap/trannyswap.

go get a b18c automatic swap... thats what im doing to my Sisters civic.

you guys gotta be kidding me, why people turbo or do major s**t and keep the auto still never ceases to amaze me. Sell it and go manual.

On superhonda.com there was a guy running a turboed civic ex auto and its best time was a high 15! Even he finally realises he needs a manual heres his site

boost it thats my two cents. yeah its auto but hey you could still make it a quick car.

Boost it. I am still contemplating with it on my auto. Nothing wrong with an auto. Yes manual would be faster and more fun, but sometimes an auto is what you've got. Everyone says swap it or sell it and get a stick, but that can't always happen. Good luck and to CC.

okay, im big on turboing your d, but on an auto, thats where i say ditch it.. get a b18c1 motor with a b18b auto tranny....done.

boost it and you will hate life.... my friend has a turbo ex auto and that s**t sucks. aftermarket turbo kits were not made for automatics. they just dont go together.

Yea, just go for a no-boost B18C5 (expensive) or hell, an H22 and keep it auto. No sense wasting good boost on an Auto
