D16Y8 Into an eg hatch shell.

Need some help. Just picked up a 93 Civic VX Hatch shell. Going simple and dropping in a D16Y8 motor. Problem is the car has no engine or cabin/dash harness or ecu. Can't really complain since it was free. Question to you all is which ecu do I get and which doner car can I pull the harnesses from? Thanks

Pull the harness and ECU from the matching engine. D16Y8 = 96-00 Civic EX.

same thing here, picked up a 92 si hatch that someone had put a y8 in the car. I picked it up with that y8 blown ad's taken out already and another y8 to put in, I got a harness just need to know if I can use a obd 1 ecu with that engine, I have a couple p06 ecu's one from a dohc zc and the other from a d15b7. I know there not vtec but if it runs that's all I need for now.
