D16Y8 or B18C ??

hey im new to club civic , i recently brought a 1998 civic EJ8 and it has a D16Y8 in it , i want to know what would be better turbo the D16 or buy a B18C and turbo that ive been looking for a B18C JDM for a while now and cant find one i have found a few B18C7 but i cant find one without going over $4000, is it worth that much money ?? and is there anyway to get a JDM B18C,, Also how hard is it to do the swap ???

Just turbo the d16, for the price of a turbo setup and b18c swap you could have a fully built d16 making more power than what that b18c could handle on a stock block

boost the d series you can keep it on stock internals and get to around 200hp
since youre talking about having b18c swap money then if you want more than 200 change the internals and boost the hell out of it

Boost the D. For the amount of money you wold have to spend on buying a b18 AND turboing it you would be probably going up into the k-swap territory. Search up Vitera builds or whatever they're called. Low compression and extremely high boost = a ton of power from the single slammers.

But if you have an unlimited amount of money, go for the b18c7 swap and turbo it on e85.
