D16y8 to y7

So, I shot my engine and my budget led me to downgrading my engine. .
I have a d16y8 M/T and I got a Y7 A/T engine with no tranny.
The engine didn't come with a wiring harness or computer.

Is there a problem if I keep my y8 harness?
Is there a difference in m/t and a/t engine wise?

I know I'll have problems with my IACV...
Can I just switch over to the y8 manifold and keep the y7 injectors?

I'm keeping my y8 exhaust manifold because the cat location and sensors, would that be a problem?
I might gain like a horse or two... I don't know though. Don't care about horses though, I need to get the car running in grade A condish so I can get to work and save money for the next updrading swap.

What other problems will I run into with this swap.
I'm new to Hondas, and I love 'em. This is my first engine swapp. I don't know what to do.

Everything should move right over, you will have issues with the ecu's not being the same. Not sure about the exhaust on those. The only thing that you wont hook up is the plugs for the vtec solenoid, unless you want to do a mini me swap. Also just use the entire y8 rail and injectors

What about the iacv? Isn't different with three and two cables?
