I got a 97 civic ex 1.6l 16 valve d16y8

iv done a walbro 255lph fuel pump, custom air intake guted the rear and trunk interior and takin off the A/C

I'm wanting to do a 2 1/2 inch full exhaust system with a tubular manifold, lighter weight pulley and turbo kit.

but i wanna keep mostly stock internals and has to be a daily driver

I need to know how much boost the stock engine can safely hold and what kinda turbo set up I should look into. and what other upgrades I'll need

and a basic list of what a full "turbo kit" is

this is my first car all iv ever had is big trucks so I don't know much about em so any ideas would help a lot.

on stock internals the y8 will be good to 200-220 hp
research what you need for the turbo kit and if you want to do it the easy but possibly more expensive way there are companies that make complete kits
what are you going to tune it with?
whats your budget?
do you have a tuner around you?
theres more but just get back to me with this info and i will help some more if you need it

oooo boy.... someone is going to eat you up.

do you homework online. what you asked has been asked over 1 million times. but around 200hp for a y8 stock. and a tuner is someone that makes the car run right after you add things has the computer in the car has not way to know what you have added/ changed. and by him saying near you he means somewhere not to far from where you car is. becuz you dont want to drive the car far after adding turbo.

What he meant was someone will get mad and b***h you out for asking the same question a million people have. Im just telling you what he meant, but everyone has helped and gave you links advice etc so go through everything do some research and if you have any specific questions come back to us.
Also do not cheap out on the tune its the heart of any turbo build be prepared to shell out a good bit of cash for a good one by a good tuner.
