I don't think d-series injectors will work on a b-series, but I may be wrong :what:

you are mistaken, they will work...most aftermarket injectors are universal applications which just require soldering to work...

the piping wont work when going from D to B, the bends might be slightly off...the oil lines might also be short or not long enough as well...

Why not just get the b16 and get the turbo for it?

why not just buld the y8 turbo it, internals block gaurd/sleeves, you would prolly spned less and have a single cam with like 300hp you could go around spankin everybody, and after you smoke some ass in a "fast car" with a b16 you can say you just got beat by a single cam...

A friend of mine has a turbo on a sohc and it is pushing just under 300hp. I think he is at like 280-290. I was thinking about doing it myself.....but I am worried about the engine build up as far as the pistons. I heard the d16 is week when it comes to lower end streangth. If I am gonna build up a motor I might as well do a swap. These are the things I would asume you are pondering too. If not they are things to think about. A turbo kit may not be the way you want to go if you plan on doing a swap in the near future. On the other hand d16 motors can almost be found for free so if it does blow you can just swap in another one. This is the theory my friend is sticking to.

You can do both like if u turbo ur d16y8(which i have done)...and later on if u whana change ur motor to b16 or b18....just get a B-Series manifold and depends what turbo u got....rest of the stuff will work.

if you know for a fact that you are going to swap to a b16.... why spend the money on turboing your d series? the turbos are different when going from a ex kit to the si kit. the si turbo is bigger, its more of a match for that motor than the 15g (kit that comes with the ex kit). Dont waste your money, save and do it at once.
