Hello, i was driving around today iin my 99 ex y8. and thought to myself id really like more power put not piston busting gas guzzling power , just a little more. like around 7-8 psi. So as i finally get to my question when i put new rods pistons and all of the important things on turboing my y8 would it be safe to turbo it and keep it low psi? or would it be a hassle to turbo it? and one more question would the turbo be alot of maintnence? even know im running low boost? thank you for the help!

You can run low boost on a 100% stock motor, but you might need a new clutch to hold it.
Up keep is nothing, high tes gas, change the plugs a little more often thats about it. The key is just to monitor things better, watch your boost gauge every so often, listen for abnormal noise, ect. Not really a big deal.

My old setup was a daily driver, I could drive to work and back w/o going into boost if I wanted to.
