What turbo kit? Turbo size? Brand? Provide more info on your turbo kit, engine management and fuel delivery. We'll be able to help you better.
Anything over 200-250 is not only dangerous but is also a waste on a street car so I would shoot for that if I were you.

When I had a 14B on my b7 I had pushed 12 psi untuned and all that happened was that I blew a head gasket. I bought ARP's and lowered it to 10 psi untuned and it worked great. I just recently purchased a car with a z6 and plan on putting a 16G on it or so, with at least 10 psi and possibly ARP's too. Just make sure it is tuned well and you don't have to worry. General rule of thumb I read about the b7 was that around the 190 - 200whp marker you should be fine and about 225 whp on the z6. I have seen 250whp done on a stock z6 and also 275whp but I don't know how long that lasted them.
