hey im lookin at turbochargin my 94 si and i was wonderin if anybody knows how good the internals are?how much boost can the stock parts handle?

i would say you are pushing max at 7...8 or 9 psi would definately do damage after time. You would not significantly reduce the life of you engine if you ran 5 or 6 psi. Once you get good rods, low compression pistons, springs, retainers, cams, and have your crank micropolished balanced and chammferred, bearings, etc... and have a good computer setup with 400+cc injectors (maybe fuel pump too) youd be good for like 12-17 psi depending on setup anything else would detonate unless youre willing to run race gas or do other extreme modifications like oil squirters and coolers.
yeah i think the kit is wastegated to 7psi so that would be all that i would run for a while till i got the engine built up

does that kit have an internal wastegate, or one mounted seperately on your manifold. cuz if its internal, its kinda gay and you would be better off in the long run either getting a different turbo or modifying it to external waste gate.
