hey fellas i have a question for my friend.. im kindly new to hondas and boosting so my question is that im selling my buddy a bone stock d16z6 stock block brand new head new rings rods and mains pistons are great shape stock cam and he has some kind of ebay turbo he wants to put on it i think its like a godspeed or something im not sure and he asked me how much boost could he run on it without destroying it and i didnt want to tell him something and him kill his engine so if anyone has a clue plz post or pm me thanks

I wouldnt put an ebay turbo kit on any motor i had put money in or cared about. Also if its a full ebay kit the manifolds and downpipes are notrious for cracking. How does he plan to tune it if he does this, what size injectors are you going to up to, need at least 190 fuel pump and lots of other stuff.

Godspeed is a decent company. I'd use it for when a stock turbo gives out and you're not planning on boosting it more than the stock wastegate. For any ebay turbo, I wouldn't recommend going past what the wastegate already opens at. Most cracking happens when people mix ebay turbo kits with boost controllers. Any more than that and you run a high risk of cracking the gate orifice or something else that's important.

ok would he have to change any fuel pumps or anything if he puts just the turbo on? he has stock injectors and everything he said the kit is set at 6 psi

he will need a fuel pump, injectors and engine management. He will also need to take it and have it tuned otherwise there will be a nice window in the block
