Dash clock resets every time I start engine..

Hello, had a fiddle about fitting a stereo & now every time I start the engine the dashboard clock resets to 1 oclock.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?

check you battary. it might be dieing...

Check the wiring that is going to the clock. Sounds like the memory for it isn't wired in correctly

that, or you crossed these 2 wires.. 1) normal power wire & 2) keep it powered while the cars off

x2, I had this problem accidentally with my deck.

If it is all factory wiring then it is most likely battery related. Of course that's if your stock wiring hasn't been modified by a previous owner
