I've tried LEDs, xenon bulbs, no matter what s**t is just DIM...

Could it be possible that the dimmer switch is faulty?

in the cluster, climate control... all of them are dim

even when the headlights are off, as in just turning the switch to parking lights, the gauges are all still dim...

They are supposed to be like that... :what: When the lights are off, the dash lights gets more amps so it glows brighter. When the lights are on, they dim out because there is less amperage going to them.

Oh and Amperage times volts makes watts. So you can figure out what I'm talking about.

They also dim w/your headlights on so your not blinded by your dash lights when driving at night. If your dimmer switch was bad, you would have NO dash lights at all.

it's not supposed to be this dim. I've seen what they're supposed to look like on other cars. It's barely visible, day, night, lights on, lights off, it doesn't matter. They're unevenly lit and barely visible. 1 muti LED bulb lit up a small portion of the gauges, other than that, there def seems to be something wrong with them.

If the dimmer switch was faulty, since it's made up of a series of resistors, it could be worn out in the upper range so that it's not getting a full current to power the bulbs properly. This is the only thing I can think of, since I see no other reason why it should look all worn out and faded. At night, lights on or off, I can't see the gauges properly.

If it's not the dimmer, I'm swapping the POS for something better... I'm sick of looking at this washed out barely lit piece of crap cluster.
