I recently got a used 94 civic ex coupe, the dash lights appear to work okay, but will only turn on when I'm braking. I checked the wires and the red/black wire going to my dash only appears to be getting voltage when my brakes are pressed.
Also, on a separate note, I blew out the fuse for my clock/radio, but after I replaced the fuse, the white/blue wire that's supposed to be delivering the 12v supply appears to only be getting something in the neighborhood of 2v to 4v so my clock and radio won't turn on. Also before I blew the fuse, my clock would sometimes dim sometimes when I would brake. My battery is charged fine, and I'm getting a full 12v from the ignition wire.
I'm at a bit of a loss of what I can do to fix the issues / where the issues are coming from. I'm pretty new to this stuff; any help would be greatly appreciated.
