Purchased with dash lights not working:changed the dimmer switch solved issue.
Tried installing LED wiper dispensers shorted out signal lights and every since then nothing but electrical problems.
-dash back lights dont work but function lights do. when head lights are turned on they all go out.
-rear right turn signal doe't come on but bulb is good cuz when the emergency lights are on the front right turn signal doesn't work.
-when brakes are pressed, the dash function lights flash or the radio cuts off and comes back on.

any help would be good.

checked fuses none are bad.

Check the rear ground wire.

R12 or R13a?

Does the condenser fan run when the A/C button is pushed? Does the compressor clutch engage? Does the A/C button light turn on?

A/c is believed to have been converted to r134. How to verify it idk but was told so due to the adapter for the freon.

Rear ground im not quite sure where or how to get to it but I have an idea according to a diagram.

By the way you seem to be quite the guy that's well knowledgable I see you post a lot of helpful things preciate it.

Last time I checked the fan did come on but will check again at the best opportune time

A/C light does lite up
Clutch also engages
Now the guy who so call "fixed some peice that had broken cuz It had frozen and something with a downward action hit it"
Said that the air wasn't that cold wen it was first made but me and empty coke can know that's bologna.

If this is all true, then it's time to hook up a R134a manifold gauge set and measure the low and high side refrigerant pressure. When you are ready to do this, I can guide you through the procedure.

I'm not sure what you are saying here^.

My wife was who dealt with him and he told her some belt froze and stopped working? Never heard that before but since it was my wife, some women dont know much and I believe he took advantage of her. I was preety hot cuz i was at tech school in TX at the time.

Check ground wire G554:

If that's fine, then another cause of the problem you are having is installation of the wrong type of bulb. The front parking and signal lights are double filament bulbs, as are the rear brake and taillights. If you install a single filament rather than double filament bulb in one of those locations, the two circuits can interfere with one another, like the problem you are having.

For your A/C problem, do you have access to an R134a manifold gauge set?

Ok tahnks i'll check that next time i get if i can get to it that is.

But as for the a/c guages i beleive i can get to some on base. What will i be looking for on hot/cold sides?

Follow the instructions below, except you will connect a manifold gauge set rather than a charging station.

Post the high and low side pressures, as well as the vent output temperature, outside temperature, and approximate relative humidity. My guess is that the system is low on refrigerant, but the test results will tell you whether this is correct or not.

I checked with autozone and they are suppose to be single for the rear. 1156LL

2057 and 3496 are both double filament bulbs.

3496 --- one bulb serves as both front parking light and turn signal

2057 --- one bulb serves as both taillight and brake light
