dash lights.

so i read a diy yesterday about changing the bulbs in ur dash to leds, well if i just take those little condom things off the bulbs will the light just b white? atm mine is amber and id rather it b white cuz amber does not go well with my blue deck lol. and again with the heating controls etc in the centre, if i just take the orange pice of plastic off of there will they just b white? sounds easy enuff, the only reason i am asking is cuz i dont no if those condoms r stuck on the lights or if they just come right off like a real rubber.

ok heres a helping note....my bro in law just redid his dash in blue LEDs.... and well its kind of a hassle but he took everything thing apart and did it the right way. thats the best way todo it..... and the white light doesnt domuch its not even that bright if u can get the condoms off
