dash seperation del sol

I have a del sol dash that is being a pain to seperate. I plan on covering ,but need to seperate first. I have all screws removed. I have the front seperated, but the rear pastic piece with vin# wont seperate. is the rear hot glued or plastic welded ?

they won't seperate. it looks like 2 pieces but it's not

thanks. well my next option is to repair vinyl hole. what color of black is the dash. I figured flat black. i will repair hole and dye place. thanks again

well the parts will seperate. it is only a epoxy that holds dash pad in place. after gently prying . the parts seperated. this needs to be done from bottom of dash. now I can recover. I also have another dash for covering. if anyone needs a custom dash pad. let me know. yes that's B'ham. Roll tide
