Day time running lights

Im just wondering if 6th gen coupes are supposed to have day time running lights?
Cause if they do then mine dont work.
i thought after like 1996 all cars had to be made with um but i may be wrong

i have parking lights, headlights, and high beams. no DRLs unless you have the jdm headlights.

I have a 98 and it came with DRLs. It USED to work, but it doesn't work anymore. I checked the fuse and all, but still no luck.

nah no daytime lights..

city lights are not daytime runing either.. they come on when u turn the parking lights on...

here is something u might not have known...
reason for the city lights... well in japan cities its very bright. neon lights tons of people tons of cars.. its ILLEGAL to drive thought the city with your headlights on so you need to flip to the parking/city lights. pretty neat huh?

only Canadian model Hondas have daytime running lights none of the U.S model Honda's have them installed.

the techs at my honda store hate installing DRL on cars that come from the states!!

but your headlights must be on in lot of northern countrys.....

as i undserstood: yes there is a difference!
city lights are just used in japan and they are not so powerfull as the DTR lights

all i know is day time running lights are gay. People need to pay attention when they drive, people shouldnt have to have their headlights on for "increased visibility" in DRY CLEAR conditions.

True I hate seeing people driving around with day time running lights. It makes no sense to have lights on when it is a clear sunny day out. The G A Y E S T s**t man.

bah, i'm not

but when i'm speeding down county roads, state highways, or federal highways, i usually turn my lights on. must be cuz i lived in indiana though. it's just nice being able to tell there's a car at a distance, especially when you're going twice the speed limit.

well on 2 lane country ass roads it makes sense ... many 2 lane roads here in ca you gotta turn em on (12 between fairfield and stockton for instance)

city lights dont shine any light. they more or less just lgiht up the headlight housing. u cant see s**t with them at night they dont emit any light what so ever.

daytime running turn on as soon as u start the car. city lights turn on when u turn the parking lights on.

i remember the first time i saw DRLs... i was in canada and couldn't understand why the car's lights were always on.

i dont care what peeps think about DRL's or if they see them on my civic thats their issue. deal with it.
Anything i can do to my car to guarantee that it will be seen by any motorist is ok with me, not everymotorist really gives 100% attention to all cars comming onto or behind them...
