I've always heard that auto Supras were faster than manual tranny Supras anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised.

You are correct. Most of the racing supras are autos. You break less s**t with a auto when it comes to supras too, if you are a seriouse racer.

Actually some of the quickest drag cars are autos. Most muscle cars are autos. Drag racing is one of the few forms of motorsports in which an auto excels above a manual. Autos allow for more consistent launches, quicker shifts and less loss of revs. And on a turbo car allows less of a loss of boost because all you need to do is keep your right foot planted so no excess boost is bled into the atmosphere.

And yeah, Supra respresentin'!

Yeah, the track does seem a little short but if the track really is 1/8 mile then any car that can run 154 mph at the end of the 660 deserves a double daaaaaaayyyyyyyuuuummmmmm!!!
