DC short shifter Question

I just picked up a DC short shifter from a friend of mine who had a 99 SI. will this shifter fit into my 95 EG6 hatch? Sorry for the questions, im a newbie looking for some info. thanks

it should.....but you should leave that s**t stock and learn how to shift quick, i think the only reason i liked my short shifter was because it added some notchiness to the gears not all smooth like the stock....

the dc shifter will fit, it's gonna be a shorter throw as well the shifter is shorter too. i've got one in my ex and i love it, it's different cause it's not a factory height and i've had it for about a year now and no problems. i don't think i could go back to a factory height b/c the dc is shorter and i'm use to it now.
