Debadge paint fade problem

Hey CC, I recently debadged my silver 98 dx hatch and took the civic and dx off of the back. It looks amazing but the area around where the civic had been is faded or is a little white. Do you know what caused this? And how can I fix this problem? I've tried using goo gone and scrubbing but nothing will help!

Buff it out. If that doesn't work it could simply be that the paint around the emblem is too faded.

Considering the paint is 15 years old, the paint is probably pretty faded. Unless it was parked in shade and hardly driven or something.

Like 00si said, try buffing it.
