Decent Audio Setup?

Im semi-new to cars. But i've loved music forever. This (if acceptable) will most likely be my setup in my soon to be purchased 2000 civic ex

Im hoping this is a decent setup, please feel free to tell me otherwise.

Speakers: 2 sets of Polk Audio db651s 6 1/2"

I "picked" polk audio cause from what i know the 6 1/2s have VERY nice bass response and i mostly listen to rap. If you know otherwise, please.. let me know.

I've heard the 2 12"s in person, pretty solid sound. Main selling point for the subs is the box tho.. just looks great.

Now comes the questions.

Would i want to have a seperate amplifyer for the speakers? Or would the head unit provide enough power?

Is the amp i selected powerful enough to properly power the subs?

Are there any better head units out there that any of you have personal experience with or would sugguest?

i honestly think the only thing i like is the amp.....ima pioneer type of person go to walmart and get urself a pioneer head unit and pioneer speakers...

yea that seems nice but all that cost a lot toy can go a lower cost and get better sound. i currently have a alpine in dash with alpinr type r componets in the front. rockford fosgate 6.5" coaxel in the rear. for the subs i have the new 12" pioneer premier subs and a kicker 350.2 amp and i love the way is sounds not to loud but very clear. i spent maybe 550.00 on ebay for every thing, i hoped this help even a little.
