Decision for Rear Lip/bumper

After much debate about which rear lip to get for my '98 Civic 4Door, The one I want aren't much of a choice.. OEM rear lip for 96-98. I've been considering a Type R rear lip but as most of you know the 96-98 rear bumpers are different from the 99-00. I've seen Type R rear lips on 96-98 and they just don't look properly mounted, the lip curves into the bumper too much at the bottom.

Anyhow, I'm taking suggestions as to which rear lip or bumper to purchase.

Thanks!

you probably have a less chance finding the oem lip, so i vote on getting the 96-98 type r replica lips, you can ghetto fit the 99-00 type r replica lip. most people prefer the 96-98. there are some 99-00 civic owners putting on the 96-98 because it has way more flare.

Would you have some pics to show? 99-00 rear lip civic owners putting on 96-98 rear lip has way more flare?

Doesn't anyone else have pics of a 96-98 Rear bumper with 96-98 Type R rear lip?

Here's one, anymore?

IMO it doesn't flush too well with the rear bumper..

It would look alright if it was molded in to the rear bumper, but it just looks kindof cheap with the way it just sits on the bottom of the bumper. It would look hella banging if all of it was molded in together though...

If only that oem rear lip were easy to find.. it's more rare than ferrari's on the road these days.. :(

The pic I posted above of the Type R rear lip on 96-98 Rear bumper does look choppy.. doesn't go wit the bumper really.. but no other rear lips suite that rear bumper as well as the OEM.. but I have no choice but to go another route for a rear lip.

I opted to put the 96-98 lip on my 99. It was a big pain getting it to fit, though. Also, it was worth the quest for the oem lip.
