Deck and Bass

Do different decks contribute to the amount of bass given? For example, I have a Pioneer something and my friend has a Kenwood something. We have the same speakers but he gets a lot more good sounding bass than I do. He tried to play with the settings but it still sucks.

Ya it does, mainly thought its the Amp, try to bridge your subs it will sound way louder.

the outputs on the deck are way too small to even say one is better

a lot has to do with vehicles and such. different sized cars give out different sounds

plus his may be a higher end deck with more settings than yours do
