Deck Relocation.

I want to relocate my Cd deck to where my cupholders/compartment are in my 99 si. im wondering if they make a face place to cover that upper hole, so that big hole isnt there, before i find a guage pod for the spring?

Honda makes a dual din blockoff plate. I actually have one that Im not using. LMK if you want it. Id be glad to sell it to you.

they have block off plates on ebay.. .. personally id jus try to make one.. but i do have a question for u .. how are you mounting your radio to your cupholder area.. i thought that could only be done with 96-98 cup holders. is there a install kit around for 99-00???

You would need the 96-98 cupholders.

I want to do it so I can mount my safc n guages up in the 99 dual din area when I go turbo. or I may fabricate something in the cupholder pocket to keep em less visible.

Question, been a while since i posted and just did some searching on this topic. i have a 98 EX coupe. Would it be possible to put a single din flip out hu into the bottom pocket above the cupholders? and then use that current pocket and place where the current head unit resides? Sorry, dont mean to thread jack

sweeet.... now the question is does anyone have pictures of this done? I think it would be sweet seeing as my car is a 5spd and my hands always on the shifter... making a screen easily accessible...

i have a 98 coupe with the radio above the cup holders. My car is also a 5 speed. Its kind of a pain to go over the shift knob and fiddle with the controls. You can of course bypass this with the remote.

I can get you a pic of my radio in the bottom din if you want to see it. I'll just take a pic angled from driving position so you can see. Sorry it is not a 7" LCD but like someone stated on top i am pretty sure you can mount it there. The LCD screens usually have a button to change the angle so that should help.
