Im looking into buying a del Sol. Now, from what Ive read/heard, theyre the same, chassis wise, as 5th Gen Civics. Is this 100% true? What suspension would I get? Any for a 92-95 Civic? Or do they have theyre own chassis base? Are they technically classified as a 5th Gen Civic?

Sorry for a somewhat noobish question. I dont know much about 5th Gen's. Im a 6th Gen'er, and have been for awhile now.... :what:

Well, just in case I come across used parts and whatnot. :what:

I hope you don't mind. I believe the more topic specific your title is, the quicker the answers will come.
Na, its fine. Just thought it was somewhat funny. Thanks tho. It does make more sense. :thumbs up

Nah! del Sol's are a way of life. Very reliable fun car. It's not really a true sports car but make a great summer driver.

I was in Denver last week & saw one the same blue as mine. I wonder how many miles were on that! Mine has 225,000 original unmolested miles. Still puts a smile on my face when I get it back out in the last spring early summer! 40 MPG with the top down!

They are considered a civic del sol. The suspension is the same as the 5th gen civic.
