bought some red tweed fabric and did my diy door panel inserts this weekend. just took some quick pics let me know what yall think





also doing the arm rest but not finished with that yet

Looks like you did a good job, but it would look a lot better if you got new carpet and dye the interior black

looks like a clean job, how long did it take? without any other interior goodies it looks out of place though, get some red seats and a ctr steering wheel and shift boot and then it will flow

it didn't really take long at all letting the glue dry and grinding down the plastic molds took the most time probably about 2 and half hours thanks for the comments

ive been thinking about doing the same thing, thinking about black tweed though, since i have black tom motorsports seats...

where did you buy your fabric? a place like micheals or something?

got it online i think j&o fabric i bought 3 yards for 47 with shipping not bad thou every where else wanted 17 a yard i got it for 12 there i went to hankok fabric store and they only carry tweed in winter down here if you are only doing your door panel just get a yard or 2 i bought too much

How hard is the armrest to do? Im working on donig my sedan door panels and I gotta reskin the whole door, its a real pain. I wanna do the armest...but dunno which color and whatnot to do....

Looks good. Did this on my EG doors a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I used a cheap spray adhesive and they started floppin around.

looks good but, it would look better w/ black. i wish my interior was k as well. did a good job tho.

doing my door panels and armrest...

2 yards would probably be more then enough.

clean job, i think im going to do mine, but either in a black or some other grey color
