Dimming Lights

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with this problem, and probably look like a jackass asking it.
But regardless:

With my current setup, it's simply an Alpine CDA-9886 head unit and 3-way Alpine rear speakers.
Front tweeters and front speakers are stock.
However, at increased volumes I find my lights dimming every time the bass kicks.

Solutions anyone?

I don't think he's running an amp. So a cap won't do him anygood.

Sounds like your car is taking a lot from the alternator. You could upgrade your alternator to a high output one and that should solve your problems. Anyway, this will happen to most anyone while playing music at a high volume.

AHH, i have something for all of you... When i let off the gas, my headlights get brighter. If i turn on my overhead light, after a minute or so, it also gets brighter... All clues, hypothesis, ideas, opinions, etc.. welcomed!

I had a system with a capacitor and a high power alternator.. still dimmed the headlights when the bass hit.
