Dip Stick

I broke the top of a dip stick off and a guy tried to drill and get a screw in it to pull it out. Well he just pushed it in farther and was wondering how to get it out. Is the tube it goes in a two piece and if so what do I need to do to get it apart I need my car.

don't wanna chance crankin it up don't want it do damage nething. So it is stuck at my house. The only solution I have it to take the oil pan off and push it back up through, and I just did a damn oil change too, BASTARD!!!

How da f**k do you break your dipstick in your hole?

Try using a very BIG magnet.

yeah I say drain the oil and keep for re-use and remove the oil pan. Good luck though that going to be kind of difficult but duable if you have the time. let me know how it works out.

I just finished all three pullies and tightenin my pwr str and I slipped with the crow bar and hit it. I will try the magnet its easier then the oil pan way, thanks guys.

alligator tweezers, needle-nose pliers? last engine i remember (not a honda) had the dipstick tube held on by one bolt near the base of the tube, but we had to remove one of the exhaust manis to get to it.

got it out by heatin a piece of wire and melting it in there.
