Dismanteling cluster

Yesterday I was trying to replace the bulb behind my tach and fuel gauge, I removed the screws that hold the face and the article I was reading said put a fork underneath and pry off the needle. This sounds like a good way to snap the needle or ruin the mechanism that makes it move. I tried pinching it with pliers and tweezers but it doesn't budge at all.Does anyone have any recommendations on how to safely remove the needle so the face can be removed on an Ek?

Yeah if you're replacing bulbs you shouldn't have to touch the faces.

There is a light bulb behind the face of both, I can see the one behind the tach. It comes up through the bottom(as seen in this picture) you can only change that if you remove the face I believe, Plus my srs light will not reset, even after I changed the clockspring, I was going to pull the SRS bulb too.
I tried using my fingers, does just the white part pull off or the little black thing round thing with the groove in it. Because my car is an Lx I've found out that some things are not exactly the same as an EX or DX.

Lol the 2 bulbs for the tach are the brown bulb holders on the back, the bulb in the front isn't for the tach

The one bulb in the little white spot is cruise control and the one behind the tach is just for SRS and you don't have to pull the bulb just remove the SRS plug in the back it's the yellow plug I believe
