distributor for 92 honda civic installation

I have a 92 honda civic and need to replace the distibutor. Can anyone give me the needed information to do this. I do not have a timinglight nor do I know how to do this.

un plug the dizzy. remove the 3 bolts. remove dizzy. installed new dizzy...itll only go on one way, so you cant screw it up. installe the 3 bolts, plug in the elctrical and then adjust to your liking, or til it idles around 6-800 rpm.

notice that the dizzy is slotted for adjustment. try to put the new dizzy in the same spot as the old one from the bolt marks

^ what that guy said. Also, auto chains like O'Reilly and Autozone will "loan" tools for a small deposit. Bring the tool back, get your deposit back. Setting the correct timing is CRUCIAL, so you really do need to use that timing light.

No you don't....i've never used one....but then again i've been doin this for 14 years

I've always set my timing using a timing light. It's easy and there isn't any reason not to...better safe than sorry.
