Alright guys I have somewhat of a problem. I have a 95 civic hatchback dx with D15B engine couple months ago my timing belt skipped and bending my valves I had the head rebuilt at a machine shop and had a mechanic adjust timing on it and put the head back on my car but when he went to put the distributor on it the car acted funny even with all d adjustment on the distributor point is he had to notch the distributor to give it some more clearance to move and getting engine to run smooth. We check the timing marks on the crank pulley and aligned everything but still had to notch the distributor, mechanic said the head must not be the one for that engin and maybe been swapped out before I bought the car, is there difference between vtec and non vtec distributors?
