DIY fibergalssing intirior.

i was wandering if anyone had any links on how i can fiber glass my intirior and make it look like the outside of my car when i get it mainted and done it anyone can help out i would appreciate it alot. thanks

you're gonna need some resin = $25-30/ gallon, some fiberglass matt = $5-50 depending on application, some stretch material = about $6 / yd. some body filler $20 gallon. total, you can spend anywhere from 100 - 300 depending on what you're doing.
goose, lemme know what you're trying to do, i've already glassed up an ek hatch - maybe i can give you some pointers.

^^^umm trying to make a gauge pod holder like i want to put the temp gauge and oil presure gauge where my stereo is and the stereo where the cup holder thing is like that lil space u could put stuff in not really the cup holder...

yeah... thats a single din slot by the cup holder so thats no prob. if you wanna make a fiberglass gauge pod you won't need all that material i listed. you would only need like a pint of resin and one pack of fiberglass. you can use an old t-shirt for the stretch fabric. maybe total about $25.

dude, the dash is hard. alot of work. just buy the abs dash cover. the cost of that will come close to the cost of the material to do your dash. the center console is easy. if you just want it looking smooth and glossy, just sand it down, slap on some filler, sand again, prime and paint.
