Do I need anything else for my turbo install?

Already installed:
AEM pressure regualtor
Fuel pump
Apexi WS exhaust
Jackson racing cat
Boost gauge
Volt gauge
A/F gauge
Bosch Platnium 4 Spark plugs

At my house waitng for install:
Greddy Turbo kit
Greddy I/C kit
Greddy Turbo timer
Greddy profec E-01 Boost Controller
Greddy type s BOV
Exedy stage 2 clutch

Still to be oredered:
AEM fuel rail
ACT street lite flywheel
Skunk2 intake manifold
SS clutch line

Maybe?
autometer dual gauge cluster gauge pod
EGT gauge
oil temp gauge???
(thinking about saving for defi link gauges that go black when they are off)

Do I need an EGT gauge right away if I'm just rolling 6PSI?

Am I missing anything or are there any suggestions on other stuff I should get or might need?

Thanks!

The Greddy Turbo kit comes with injectors and the Profec B spec 2 just got crossed off the list for this:

brand new for only $375, got it locally!

As far as a good tune my buddy thats helping me install will do the tune. What exactly should be done when tuning after installing my turbo? What am I looking for? Well I just want my turbo to run at 6PSI, which is what it runs at from greddy. I'm not looking for anything really special as I'm still running stock internals. I just want this to run really well, without problem, with good power for a few trips to the Autox track and a couple to the drag strip but also be a daily driver.

I got just about everything on ebay, and am getting everything else on ebay but the SS clutch line. Total numbers will be about $4500 for the new parts, as far as everything I already have I'd have to look back in my papers at home(but I'm 2.5hrs from there until the end of may), I'm installing all on my own, screw having a shop do the work! Yes I have a stock engine, nothing done internally yet... hopefully in a year it will be fully built and running a bit more PSI.

consider this though, my boost controller and turbo kit from Greddy would have cost $4,000 alone... if you ask me, I'm getting a pretty good deal with everything I'm getting.

if your going to run alot of power i would look into new motor mounts and half shafts

just 6PSI so mounts and shafts should be okay for now. Little worried about my shafts if I get some DOT drag slicks for the track... will have to keep the launch on the low RPM side.

Last time I checked, the turbo kit from greddy wasn't $4000, more like high $2000 and im pretty sure a boost controller doesnt run in the thousands, im not trying to be a d**k, im just more of a DIY kinda guy and mainly pointing out that you couldve had a much better setup for that much money, honestly you spent waaaay too much for nothing.

get rid of those plaintum plugs. those things suck for boost. get some copper plugs, 2 heat ranges colder, and drop the gap to about .025. and you still need some sort of fuel managment, i highly reccomend socketing your ecu and running cromepro.

Will work on the plugs, and I'm going to stick with the emanage system as my fuel management. How do you know the heat range of the plugs? Will it say on the box? Whats the stock Si run as a heat range?

Thanks!

stock ngk's are a 5. you want a 7. and unless you buy the e manage software package, the base emanage is useless. throw it away, and get crome, it is a FAR superior product. you've already spent over 4 grand on your turbo setup, and you're going to cheap out on the most important part of a turbo kit?

I have the E-01 boost controller so I dont need the software package to tune the emanage as this boost controller doubles as a programmer. I'm going to go with a full engine management package down the road before I build my motor. I know its important, but emanage is a good system for running greddys boost at 6PSI.

its $3944, if you go off their site, which everyone knows is a grip more than you can actually get it for. Anyways, that wasn't my point. I spent $2000 on my setup, which imo (and im sure everyone elses) is a better setup and with the $2000 that I didnt spend (totaling your $4000), I can use on internals, just saying like I did, that you spent your spent your money on alot of nothing, when you couldve get the same kit as what you have or pieced one together for much less and used the extra money for something else.
