does a ex exhaust manifold fit on a lx??

Dude you're going to need to wait more than 20 minutes for a response. We don't have members sitting here waiting to answer every question. Give it time.
To answer your question. Yes, the manifold will fit. However if you simply replace the LX manifold with an EX manifold, the car will no longer have a catalytic converter. On the EX, the cat is on the downpipe. On the LX, the cat is on the exhaust manifold. If you are not worried about passing emissions, then you should be fine, although you may throw a code....but there are ways to bypass that. If you are worried about it, you will need to source at least an EX downpipe, possibly more exhaust parts along with extending the wire for the O2 sensor.
