Does a JDM lip require a half bumper?

I did a search and didn't get quite what I was looking for.

I'm thinking about sticking JDM style lips on front and back bumpers. But from all the pics, they look like they don't bolt up to the USDM 6th gen bumpers, but maybe some kind of "half" bumper or something.

Can someone tell me what it takes to mount those JDM style lips (or other thin/subdued lips) onto stock USDM bumper covers?

I really want to avoid the huge ricey street fighter look.

the jdm style lips are a copy of the jdm lips so that it can fit whatever model your car is. the lips overlap the stock bumper and when order lips, they should come with some bolts so you can bolt it on to the bumper.

Yeah I think you were just confused because the lip actually goes over part of the stock bumper.
