does anyone know what each wire on the detached cd player does?

i want to know which ones provide the sound to the deck, i assume there is 2 of them.

i want to snip them, and hardwire my sirius receiver to my oem deck.

actually, I don't need you to tell me which is which, mostly i just need to know how to find out for myself.

hey that's really helpful, thanks, but it's not quite what i wanted.

there is a round plug that goes in the back of the cd player that is mounted by the cup holder. What i need to know is which wire does what?

*worst case scenario i'll dig around in it testing this or that, but to avoid hassle i'd rather find out first

Why not just use an FM direct adapter? For an EK, you wont even need antenna adapters. Only $30 bucks.
