I bought the car at a Toyota dealer. Its a 2000 honda civic ex coupe. I was wondering if i have a key less entry because i didnt get a remote. can some help?

Dealer would be you're best bet, but I'm not sure how much they would charge you. I believe it only works if the factory radio is still installed. Does the car still have it's factory radio?should i got to the dealer and get a remote or buy one at autozone or something

What you can do to find out if you have the keyless entry is to remove the driver side kick panel and see if the control module is there. I don't have a stock radio and all I did was bought a uaed Honda keyless remote on ebay, did the programming method, and it all worked.

we have two remote.If you use your dad's what is he going to use? If you mean use it for both cars, the answer is no.
Autozone isn't going to have a stock remote, go to the dealer or get one online.

Sorry to thread jump bit would my 97 ex have keyless entry as well he said all ex's should I'm gonna check kick panel in the morning I still have stock radio, tape player and CD changer lol all stock so what is the method for programming so it'll work

96-98 requires stock radio for keyless entry, 99-00 does not. get a remote from honda dealer n then jus program it. and i believe u need a control from a 99-00 civic. when i bought my car it did not come with one and i ask if i could use the control from my 98 ex , it didnt work. luckily the dealer where i bought my car had an extra one and gave it to me for free n program it. oh i own a 2000 si btw
