I got a 99 si coupe
84**** miles

Drag gen III turbo kit w/intercooler
Gsr cams
Apexi N1 Exhaust with aftermarket Cat
Hondata
OBD1 P72
Walbro 255
Rc 550 injectors
ACT XTSS clutch

All i can think of right now anyways the car was on 18" rims when tuned and we got 203whp on 4-5lbs boost does that seem to low?

Also if i set the boost to about 7-10 would i have to get it retuned or am I ok?

Thanks

I got my stock si rims on the car now. But for all the money I put into turbo to make it work. Shitty ass gain of hp. from 160 to 203. Im debateing on getting it tuned somewhere else but if this sounds right then whats the point.

well, at that much boost, no. I think Si's have around 145whp, not 160. I'm not positive, it's just what I hear from most who have an Si.

I do need a boost controller.

Is it possible to get maybe like 9lbs theres a 7 on the wastegate. Im guessing thats the max unless i change the spring. But I dont want to change anything.

that sounds about right for 4-5 lbs. and yes your tune will be off when you up your boost as the a/f ratio has changed.

you got a lot to learn.

the wastegate is the MINIMUM the turbo will spool to. Wastegate = full boost = dump to *gasp* dump tube/down pipe.

Boost controller will let you run more than the WG. So youre right there.

And 5 psi is stellar gains... 160 CRANK hp on b16a2 => ~136whp... which means youre gaining approx. 13whp per psi... so at 10 psi you'll be up to approx. 270 whp.

Lastly, YES you will need to retune for 10psi. Any mod which effects CFM warrants a retune.

I got another question its about HONDATA

I Set the launch RPM,overall rev limit, shift light, and VTEC point

anyways the only thing that seems to work was the shift light seem like when I went to set everything it all worked but when I went for a drive to test it out nothign seemed set but the shift light.

The numbers sound about right but if u haven't got it tuned get it done then get a manual boost controller and up the boost to 7 psi..
