Dome Light / Door Pins

First off I have a '94 CX... When the hatch is opened the dome light doesnt come on.
So this is what I'm assuming the alarm system runs off of when the alarm is triggered by the door opening. So how would I go about adding the hatch?? I dont think I can just hookup the rear switch to the drivers door pin.

So if anyone has done this or knows something about it let me know. I need to find someplace that will sell a door switch that works like the OEM one and also a diagram to see where these door pins connect so I could add another...

for hatchies a mercury switch is the best thing for a switch.

Thats a pretty cool idea with the mercury switch. Dont really have to worry about mounting it, just stick it to the window. You know where I might get one of those?

Anyone know how I could connect the hatch?? I dont think I can just connect it to the drivers door wires cuzz the circuit wouldnt ever be open unless both drivers door and hatch were open...

is there a light in the trunk off to one side? can't remember if there is... if so - use that... it'll be negaive trigger

nah, theres no light anywhere but the dome light.
