Dome light

00 ex sunroof coupe with a kinda working dome light. With the switch on it is on with the switch off its off with the switch in the middle the light is on with door open and off with the door closed but when you leave the switch left there when you open the door and then close it the light only dims It does not turn off? I checked the switches at the doors both are good shape. I searched the forum but didn't see any other thread with this problem.

turn it off and try and hit it a little bit and if it flashes then its gotta be a wiring problem, or just try to change the bulb

Could be a problem with the keyless control unit.

tapping it does nothing (I tried that before I made the post.) I have keyless entry but no fob. How can I check that out RonJ?
