Dont buy a carbon fiber hood from complete in arlington

I bought a carbon fiber hood from complete in arlington Tx and had it for a year now. I went to houston to be a part of a car show a couple of weeks ago. The top layer of carbon fiber came off on me on the highway. I was glad that did not f**k up my car. Then i went back to see if they will do something. They told me i had to have the receipt but the guy remembers me and he sees that its his product that he carries. So my suggestion to u is not to buy any products from them since they are not gonna back up their products quality. That top layer of carbon fiber should have not came off on the highway regard less of using hood pins. How often do u hear it happening to other brand hoods.

I've never heard of that happening with a Seibon or VIS hood. I have a Seibon hood and its impecabble. The fitment and quality of the hood is amazing.

what hood company and how often did you clean and maintain it??

of heard of the whole hood poppoing up and hitting the winsheild, but just a leyer of it? thats strange... i have a VIS hood no problems besides the fitment being a little off
