Okay, so I bought this car knowing it was a project car and I probably won't have the money to invest in like I want to but I need some suggestions on where to go next. So far I have not done anything engine related (Except for the speed sensor). I've basically done cosmetics. I need some suggestions on what to stet saving up for next and doing. An engine swap is kinda out of the question because my mom is dumb. I will post links to my show off thread and a posing with some of the problems. I am on a tight budget of $100 a week or less depending on my work schedule. Thanks in advanced. Really wanna get my baby rolling nicely

Not yet. I'm going for my license in three weeks. I drive it maybe 2 - 4 times a week if my dad's home. It will be my DD once I get my license though, I'm trying to make it as street legal as possible.

honestly i would try to find a side hustle because 100 a week its gonna take you 3 months just to buy some coilovers 5-6 months for a motor like its a reallly tight budget or just wait till tax returns

:/ I know. It sucks working at a Grocery Store. I should get maybe half a grand when tax returns come around in January.

Just start saving, looking for deals as much as you can. What do you want to do to it next?

I'm giving it a tune up soon. Probably this weekend. Gonna get new headlights and comers because mine are broke. Were swapping my brother's Rex wheels because mine are destroyed and his car doesn't work. Gonna get it painted beginning of December. I've been looking into a mini me swap and said about $550 I can tune my tiny d15 nicely. I might do that when tax retire come next year.

i saved up 1,300 bucks for my progress coils took me about 3 months. i realised along time ago to do it rite the first time. your lucky though you have an older model civic so you have a million parts to choose from that are dirt cheap.

I don't understand why people always keep coming back to the height. I don't care about the height of the car. I also don't care about going fast. It's gonna be my DD for a few months until I can get another civic.

then why did you say it was a project car and ask everyone what to do next ??? this thread is pointless.

its a project car thats intended to be slow and be stock? is your project getting the thing running and safe to drive? if so...we cant be online mechanics for ya unless you at least give us a vivid description of whats wrong with the car so we can try to assess what needs to be done to repair the vehicle.
