I swear I've seen either on here or honda-tech someone make or purchased and installed these plates that screw into the door behind the door panel that blocks people from being able to jimmy the door open. Does anyone know if this is a possibility and if so, where or how could I do this? thanks

i am sure if you dismantled your door yourll prob be able to rig something to get in the way of a jimmy. make sure you dont lock yourself out though.

that honestly doesn't matter if something is in the way of the lock mech...1.if they want it bad enough...they are going to blow your window out...2. we had to get into my friends 6th gen last night...all we used was a coat hanger...and i'm not explaining the rest for those who are not on this site for info...but rather to find where cars are and s**t

main point...if they want it bad enough..they will get it...all you can do is prolong the theft

i just took out the rod that connects to the lock, so that way noone can jimmy it...granted you have to use your key to lock and unlock both sides of the car. its kind of a pain in the ass, but it keeps theives out.

not a bad idea but they aren't fool proof by any means either. I locked my keys in my car a couple weeks ago and the guy from the towing company who unlocked used this thing that was like a wedge and a balloon.

Yep, the city cops here use the wedge and balloon to unlock peoples cars.

Sweet, thanks turbo95eg, thats exactly what I was looking for. I do wonder how well it does work. I figure I should be able to atleast kinda mess around w/ it if I install it and try to jimmy the door. Nice brick you got there. I understand the whole idea that if someone really wants to steal a car they will, but then again it doesn't mean that you cant ward off atleast some of them.
