Door locks

i got a 97 honda civic ex and i notice when i try to unlock the passenger side door from the driver side unlock switch the passenger side door lock doesn't go all the way. Its like it gets stuck and sometimes it does and i cant unlock the door even if i try and flip the lock from inside. I have to turn the car on and then the driver side unlock switch will work. How do i fix this ??
