double din install

jus got an 99 ls and had a double din laying around and jus ordered my metra 95-7801 dash kit. put the dash kit on the radio with it out of the car and went to put it in the car and with the dash kit it has like a buncha s**t hanging off the side like clips and now i cant get the radio in my car. i need the kit also because there is no were in my 99 integra ls that i can bolt or screw the radio into on the car.


please help asap my cars a mess right now and need to put it back together thanks.

put your s**t in the trunk, and call a pro. seriously, you need to remove your lower dash, SO YOU CAN SCREW THE CD PLAYER IN, and connect from that way, and who knows what clips your talking about

He is talking about the clips on the kit. You have to break off certain clips for each car and even after that they can be a b***h to put in when you have the radio already in it. Is the 7801 a DDIN kit for that car? I thought they only made a single din kit for that car and if you wanted to do a DDIN you had to use the the factory braket on the back of the radio and fit it to the new radio. I could be wrong. I have only done one DDIN in that car befor and it was a while ago.
