the timer and BOV will have to go on the next check!! Im sure it'll be a while before i can put it on. I know i still need some other crap too.... Sean, i cant afford hondata for a bit, if i deciede to turn up the boost, will the AFC (and injectors) method of controlling fuel "get me by" ??

I know that most ppl on here are not fans of the E-manage system that comes with the Greddy. However I have had much luck with them. If you decide to use it, take your time and read the instructions carefully and make sure to follow them. If you do, you should be good to go.

congrats...I dont think you should turn it up past 7 until you get a good tune and all the other goodies.

And where did you get the kit at, and for what price - did the fmic come with the kit? and is it the big fmic or small? When I ordered mine I had to order the fmic seperate...thanks

thats a decent price, and good thing you got the smaller one, you arent pusing enough cfms to actually utilize the larger intercooler. plus, youll get to keep your bumper support. yeah ifyou upgrade to some 440's or 450's, the afc will be fine, that is if you fine with it. if you want to upgrade and push the boost to around 10psi, youll NEED a gm 3 bar map sensor. also, the hack will cost you approx 350 just for the unit, id save up the extra 400 bucks and wait for hondata and tuning.

the more air you can get to the intercooler the better, the bigger the intercooler the better. Why do you say the smaller one is better?

Youre part right. the larger is better, only if youre pushing more air through it. Think of it this way too, the dsms only had small intercoolers...the 300zx o nly had a small intercooler....the skyline only has a small intercooer, yet they work perfectly fine. its realy only when you turn up to higher boost is when you need a bigger intercooler. the 5.5 psi the kit makes, makes the larger intercooler un-necessary. plus, you want to cut off your bumper???? get the smaller one, its capable of almost as much hp as the bigger one, atleast the most that kit will make, and you wont need to cut anything. bigger isnt always better.

thanks guys...... now, who knows about this uberdata i read about? it sounds like something that i can implement since i have access to a rom burner. If anyone can offer any insight, i would appriciate it...... it sounds like a much better solution that the "hack" i was thinking of running...

it acts, runs, and tunes JUST like hondata. its a free version of it. youll need to have it tuned by someone who knows how to use it...or any hondata person who is willing to tuen uberdata shouldnt have much trouble.

damn... ive been doing a lot of reading on the Uberdata..... it sounds like most of the bugs are worked out. I have access to a chip burner, so i thought that would be cool.... plus there is alot of support for uberdata.... what that man is doing is great... i think i will run the blue box at first, then maybe teh hack... (i really dont want to do that cause of the ignition problem) i REALLY want to go with the uberdata as soon as i understand it more. POP... yeah, im in meddy... hit me up when you come down... do you still have my celly # ?
