i was thinking of getting some new pedals and they say you have to drill them on. is this easy to do or would it be easier and better to get the bolt on universal ones. thanks

bolt on pedals fall off, and usually are ugly, I would rather the drill on.

as ghetto as it sounds.. heavy duty grip tape... i took off the lame rubber cover and replaced it with 3m grip tape.. i like it so much better than the factory rubber or some clunky add on pedals...

thats a great Idea, I was looking at some $150 gritty mugen petals but this makes so much more sence.

pretty similar end results but i actually think the tape is better as it is directly bonded to the pedal.. this guy that used to post here named bret with a crx gave me the idea.. i also replaced it a couple times to maximize the gripage..

Personally, I want drill on pedals for the extra pedal surface on the gas pedal.

i watched my friend do it for me. it's a b***h to do unless you have the proper drill bits.
