drivers electric window.... judder and very slow when raised ???

the drivers side window goes down fine but when i raise it it judders quite a bit and goes very slow. is it the motor ? and any ideas on a ruff price if it need be fixed.

could be a combination of things, the motor/regulator, could need a good regreasing the rails, or might have jumped off the rail... which is probably what mine is doing, havent had a chance to fix mine yet...

yea true. same as....i work 8 - 6 mon-fri i hardly have any spare time to fix it. i had the same problem with the sunroof, took off the trim on the dash by the button and replaced the switch. solved the problem .dont think the same thing would cure the window though.

the rubber isolator on the back track is probably getting bunched up. My 'teg would do that . Pulled it apart and reattached the rubber to the track and it was okay after that. Kinda' a pain in the ass to get to. Dunno' how much it would cost though. Maybe an hour's worth of labor?
